MY FITNESS STORY

Much like many people who get into fitness, I started off completely confused.

When I first stepped into the gym, I had no real plan. I bounced between fad diets, random workouts, supplements, workout magazines, and programmes that promised fast results but delivered very little. Despite all the effort, I still did not really know how to build muscle or lose fat properly.

To make things worse, my eating habits were a mess. In my younger years, I ate a lot of junk food and never developed strong nutritional habits. I was skinny-fat, frustrated, and convinced that maybe I just did not have the genetics to look the way I wanted.

Everything changed when I stopped looking for shortcuts and started learning how body recomposition actually works.

I became obsessed with understanding training, nutrition, and the science of transforming your physique. I spent countless hours learning how to build muscle properly, use a calorie deficit effectively when needed, and stop spinning my wheels with the wrong approach.

What makes my story different is that I did not build my physique under perfect conditions. I achieved my transformation while working demanding night shifts, managing fatigue, stress, and a schedule that could easily have become an excuse. Instead, I learned how to make the fundamentals work in the real world.

Over time, I completely transformed my physique naturally. That journey eventually led me to step on stage in my first amateur bodybuilding competition, where I won first place. From there, I went on to compete several more times, including representing Team Australia at the World Titles.

I have never used performance-enhancing drugs. My transformation was achieved naturally, and that matters because the methods I teach are realistic, sustainable, and built for everyday people.

Now I help other skinny-fat men do exactly what I once struggled to do myself: build muscle, lose fat, stop second-guessing everything, and create a physique they are proud of.

Back in 2015, I created the original Fitness Street series on YouTube while documenting my Muay Thai and fitness journey in Phuket, Thailand.

What began as a personal project grew into a recognised video series built around one of the most recognised fitness destinations in the world. Fitness Street has become an international training hotspot, attracting people from all over the globe who come to train, transform, and immerse themselves in an environment filled with gyms, fight camps, recovery centres, supplement stores, and health-focused eateries.

Since then, I have created hundreds of videos showcasing the culture, gyms, people, and atmosphere that make Fitness Street so unique, helping thousands of people discover Phuket’s world-famous fitness scene.
